Deus Research Base — Dungeon Guide
Deus Research Base (Level 10) — a dungeon that tests reaction, positioning, DPS, and teamwork. One player's mistake often means a wipe for the entire group.
Main Dungeon Mechanics
Clearing Mobs
To summon the final boss, you need to kill a sufficient number of mobs. At level 10 — that's 30 mobs. Each regular mob gives 2 points, bosses give 45. It's recommended to optimize your route to avoid killing extra mobs.
Mob Empowerment on Death
When a mob dies, it leaves a buff on allied mobs nearby. The longer the fight drags on — the more dangerous the pack becomes.
Movement Tips
- Move directly, ignoring some of the air currents
- You can skip some mobs and reach bosses faster
- Experienced groups use skip routes to speed up the run
Special Mobs — Soul Binder
The most dangerous type of mob in the dungeon. Requires priority focus.
Soul Binder Mechanics
- Applies a powerful slow to the target
- Applies a link → constant damage that increases until the link is broken
- A slime appears under it, increasing damage taken
How to Handle
- Remove the slow with a yellow potion or by the healer
- Break the link as quickly as possible
- Do not stand in the slime under the mob
- Priority focus — kill the Soul Binder first
Bosses
First Boss — Gelcos
Main Mechanics
- Whip Strike — a long-range attack that leaves a damaging field Try not only to dodge the attack or block it, but also to place the field so it doesn't hinder your team later.
- Charge — the boss selects a target and runs at it It's not hard to dodge, but many get caught up dealing damage and ignore it, which is extremely dangerous. It deals not only high damage but also a knockdown that can lead to death.
- Pull and Whip Strikes The boss first jumps, then pulls everyone to itself and strikes with its whip around itself in an expanding diameter.
- Pull to the Center This mechanic is similar to the previous one. The boss jumps to the center of the area, starts hitting with mass AoEs, then spins its whip and pulls everyone in while dealing damage.
Your task is to get out of the damage zone!
Your task is to get out of the damage zone, or activate invulnerability. Block will only allow you to survive a couple of hits.
Tactics
- Constantly move — don't stand still
- Dodge all damage zones, try to keep some distance from the boss
- The tank should have block and defensive skills ready
Second Boss — Nazmun
Easier than the first, but punishes positioning mistakes harshly.
Main Mechanics
- Rotating Turrets — move around the arena Simply attack the boss from the side, or jump over them.
- 3 Beams (Lasers) He fires them one after another: first one beam, then 2 beams, then 3 beams. Therefore, stay to the side or behind the boss.
- Three Bombs The boss summons 3 bombs near itself that deal damage and stun. They are dangerous only for melee classes, so either shift out of the damage zone or move to a safe spot near the boss (there are 3 bombs, so there's always a safe corner)
- Mass Stun Around Itself A device will appear above one player's head, which will stun all allies around them and deal damage. Your task is to not approach the team, or conversely, to run away.
Tactics
- Stay outside the beam lines
- Walk around the turrets, don't get too close
- Constantly monitor your positioning
General Debuff Mechanic (ALL THREE BOSSES)
Upon accumulating 3 stacks of the debuff — the character explodes, dealing damage to the entire group.
Final Boss — Atiel
The hardest part of the dungeon. Requires coordination from the entire group and high DPS.
Main Mechanics
- Link Between Characters The boss will link either 2 characters or everyone in the team. Your task is to break the link as quickly as possible and return to the boss. The link breaks only by increasing the distance from each other!
- Player Trap The boss will trap one player (you can use invulnerability or block skills inside it). The task of the others is to gather in time and split the damage the boss will deal by jumping down on them.
- Waves The boss jumps to the center and waves radiate from it, which knock you off the platform, deal damage, and stun. Your task is to either jump over them, or avoid them with a shift, or parry, or counter with skills.
- Pull and Link The boss will pull everyone to itself and apply a link to itself. In this phase, you will have to stay very close and at a medium distance from the boss, which makes maneuvering to dodge very difficult. It is critically important here to shift in time to dodge the mass damage.
- Pushing Blue Wind Straight streams of wind from blue portals will appear all over the platform, which will push you and deal damage + the boss itself will hit with a bunch of mass attacks. It is very critical here for the healer to heal well, and for others to dodge when possible.
- Red Winds and Stagger Dodge the wind to avoid being knocked off the platform and quickly build Stagger on the boss.
Key Strategy for Atiel
- Constant movement — your stamina and ability to shift will be the key to victory.
- Group coordination
- Splitting damage where required
- Controlling the boss at critical moments (fill the stagger bar)
Common Mistakes
- Standing in AoE instead of moving
- Ignoring debuffs (especially stacks)
- Not moving during boss fights
- Overestimating your DPS and dragging out the timer
